Are Dutch Articles of Association a notarial document?
For Dutch legal entities such as a BV or NV, the articles form part of a notarial deed. Amendments are also generally made by notarial deed.
Can I obtain the articles from the Dutch Chamber of Commerce?
Deposited articles and related documents can often be requested from KvK. The Brazilian recipient must confirm whether that version is sufficient.
Can Dutch Articles of Association be apostilled for Brazil?
A suitable notarial or certified document with a recognised signature may be eligible for a Dutch apostille. The accepted document form should be confirmed first.
How do I prove that the articles are current?
The latest complete text may need to be checked against amendments and current KvK information. An apostille alone does not prove that no later amendment exists.
Does the document need a Portuguese translation?
A Brazilian recipient may require a sworn Portuguese translation. Confirm the translator status and whether translation follows apostille.
Can acceptance in Brazil be guaranteed?
