The Apostille Convention takes effect for Vietnam on 11 September 2026. Apostille Assist is up to date with the new requirements and can help with the Dutch apostille process and document handling where needed.
First make sure the VOG is the right Dutch document.
A Vietnamese employer, immigration authority or licensing body may ask for a police clearance or Certificate of Conduct. In the Netherlands, that often means a VOG. If you already have the request from Vietnam, send me the wording and I can check the Dutch side before you send an original document.

Vietnam’s Apostille Convention takes effect on 11 September 2026. Documents needed around that date should be checked before submission so the correct route is used.
The new apostille route is not yet in force.
An eligible Dutch public document can fall under the Apostille Convention between the Netherlands and Vietnam.
Send the original to the Netherlands for apostille.
If you already have a suitable original Dutch VOG, the apostille submission can be handled as a straightforward service. You do not need to travel to the Netherlands just for this step.
