Dutch notarial documents for use in Qatar.
Need a Dutch power of attorney, signed declaration or other notarial document for Qatar? For a new signature legalisation through our Dutch notary, the signatory must attend in person in the Netherlands. This service cannot be completed remotely.
Your signature requires a personal appointment.
A Dutch notarial signature legalisation requires the person signing to appear in person before the notary in the Netherlands. The appointment cannot be completed remotely through this service.
If you are currently in Qatar, an in-person appointment in the Netherlands is needed for a new signature legalisation through this service. Apostille Assist can review the draft and coordinate an appointment in advance.
If your document has already been properly notarised in the Netherlands, later legalisation steps may be coordinated without another visit.

Frequently asked questions.
Can I notarise a new signature remotely from Qatar?
No. For the Dutch notarial signature legalisation offered here, the signatory must personally attend the notary in the Netherlands. We do not offer remote or video-based signing.
Can Apostille Assist sign the document on my behalf?
No. I can coordinate the appointment and legalisation steps, while the signatory attends personally.
What if I have already signed the document?
Send a copy for review before taking further action. The notary will determine whether you must sign again or personally acknowledge your signature.
What if my document is already notarised?
If it has already been validly notarised in the Netherlands, I can review whether the remaining Dutch legalisation and Qatari consular steps can be handled without another signing appointment.
Is an apostille alone enough for Qatar?
Qatar is not a party to the Hague Apostille Convention. Documents intended for Qatar generally need the applicable Dutch legalisation and Qatari consular attestation route.
