Your full name, date and place of birth, nationality or nationalities, and the other personal details required for the VOG application.
Proof of purpose
An email, letter, checklist, webpage or other supporting evidence showing why the VOG is required.
Intended use
The destination country, receiving organisation and the purpose for which the VOG will be used.
Specific requirements
Any instructions provided by the employer, immigration authority, embassy or other organisation receiving the VOG.
An ID copy is not required for Apostille Assist to prepare your application dossier. If an ID copy is required as part of the VOG application, it should be submitted directly to Justis in accordance with their instructions. Please do not send it to Apostille Assist. Is a Dutch police clearance certificate the same as a VOG?
In most international requests, the Dutch document referred to as a police clearance certificate, police certificate or Certificate of Conduct is the Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG).
Is the VOG issued in English?
The VOG itself is issued as a Dutch document, with a limited English section on the certificate. If the receiving organisation requires a full English or other-language version, a sworn translation can be arranged separately.
Does every Dutch VOG need an apostille?
No. An apostille is only needed when the destination or receiving organisation requires it. If required, I can arrange the apostille on the original Dutch VOG.
