Service fees include VAT. Government fees, travel, translation, additional documents and international courier costs are quoted separately where relevant.
When a medical employer or regulator requests your diploma
A medical employment file may contain education documents, professional records and recipient-specific verification requirements.
Identify every requested document first
The diploma may be only one part of the file. A regulator can also request transcripts, internship information, professional registration evidence or institution statements.
Document legalisation and medical licensing differ
Apostille Assist coordinates Dutch document handling. The receiving regulator remains responsible for equivalency, registration, examinations and permission to practise.
Frequently asked questions
Can my Dutch medical diploma be legalised?
A Dutch medical education document may be eligible for legalisation, depending on the document, issuing body and intended destination.
Does legalisation let me practise medicine abroad?
No. Medical licensing, qualification recognition and permission to practise are determined separately by the destination-country regulator.
Can transcripts and supporting documents be included?
They can be reviewed and coordinated where relevant, but each document may require its own route.
Can this be handled while I live abroad?
Often the Dutch-side steps can be coordinated remotely if the original documents and authorisations are available.
Should I translate the diploma first?
Not until the receiving party has confirmed the language and required order. Translating too early can create unnecessary cost.
Need your Dutch medical diploma prepared for an overseas application?
Share the employer or licensing checklist first. I will review the likely Dutch-side document route.
