Does a Dutch VOG need to be attested for the UAE?
If the receiving organisation requires an attested police clearance or good conduct certificate, the Dutch VOG needs to follow the applicable legalisation and UAE attestation route. UAE MOFA lists good conduct certificates among the personal documents it can attest. Always check the receiving party’s exact requirement first.

Can I apply for a VOG if I no longer live in the Netherlands?
Yes, a route exists for applicants who are not registered in a Dutch municipality. Justis provides a specific non-resident VOG application procedure. The application still has to meet the applicable identification, purpose and screening requirements.
Can the completed VOG be sent to Dubai or Abu Dhabi?
Yes, international express delivery can be included where appropriate. The delivery address and courier cost are confirmed as part of the route.
How much does the complete VOG route for the UAE cost?
